Legacy applications usually have a bad reputation. However, behind seemingly old and dusty code there is a legacy that is usually more valuable than initially assumed. What you really have in your inventory, you will realize when you want to get rid of the legacy. But what makes an application a legacy application? eXplain and consulting services are the key to putting the truth into perspective! The client ordered us to create an animation showing the processes of recompiling the old architecture into new code.

With such a specialized-technical subject, we decided that the best way to present it would be a motion design animation. Full of movement, transformation of one element into a set of other elements, soft movement, sometimes adding fake 3D. Creating the necessary elements itself did not take much time. These were most often familiar symbols of devices and IT models, which are not unfamiliar to us visually. We spent most of the time putting it all into motion, animated in space. The background colors were inspired by the colors of the PKS Software brand. The animation itself is quite long in time due to the complexity of the processes presented in it.
